Preparing for Your First Visit

To ensure your first visit goes smoothly, we recommend completing your new practice member paperwork in advance, which we will send to you. If you have any recent medical records or imaging reports, bring them along.

Your Two-Visit Discovery Process

We begin by taking the time to truly understand your health story, going deeper into your health history than most other doctor’s offices. Our two-visit process allows us to understand your needs and create a personalized care plan to address them.

Visit One: Getting to Know You

Your first appointment is all about listening and learning. This visit typically takes about 40 minutes. Here’s what you can expect:

Warm Welcome: Our friendly team will greet you and help you feel right at home.
Health History: We’ll have an in-depth conversation about your health history, concerns, and goals.
Comprehensive Scans: Using advanced technology, we’ll perform three painless, radiation-free INSiGHT® scans to assess your nervous system health.
Thorough Examination: Dr. Stephanie will conduct a gentle physical exam.

Visit Two: Personalized Care Plan

On your second visit, we’ll explain our findings and our recommendations for your personalized care plan:

Report of Findings: We’ll explain what we discovered from your scans and examination.
Care Plan Presentation: You’ll receive a tailored care plan designed to meet your unique needs.
First Adjustment: Experience your first gentle, specific chiropractic adjustment.
Questions and Answers: We encourage you to ask any questions you may have about your care.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my visits take?

Plan on 40-60 minutes for your first visit to allot the proper time to dive deep into your case history and perform scans and an evaluation. Depending on the case and family needs, we occasionally suggest a phone consultation to help ease that first visit. This is primarily used in complex pediatric cases such as autism and special needs or multiple children starting care at once. The second visit will also last around 40-45 minutes depending on the complexity of the case. We recommend that both parents, spouses, or significant others are in attendance at this visit and that initial and progress paperwork is completed online. Subsequent visits during your time at TCWC range from 5-15 minutes.

When will I get my first adjustment?

We don’t make any adjustments until your second visit after we’ve reviewed your scans and determined the best course of action for your health.

How much will Chiropractic care cost?

Since chiropractic care is personalized to your specific needs, it’s difficult to determine cost before a member of our team can evaluate your situation and needs. After you complete your initial consultation and assessment, we’ll have a much more clear picture of how to best support your healing. At your second visit, you’ll receive your personalized care plan, care investment, and have all your questions answered.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance, but you are welcome to submit on your own for reimbursement if you so choose. By avoiding the middle man, we are able to provide high quality, long-term, root cause healing services with lower office costs that make care more affordable for you and the whole family. In general, insurance companies are not focused on any preventative or wellness services. They were designed for quick, short-term symptom and disease care and treatment which is heavily invested in the conventional model of healthcare that too often relies on drugs and surgery to squash symptoms rather than provide deep, lasting neurological healing. We prefer to provide care central to you- meaning we get rid of the middle man so we can help you get to the root cause of your health challenges and STAY healthy long-term. We accept HSA and FSA forms of payment and always welcome open and honest conversations about finances. We are here to serve you and will do all that we can to help.
